Nigerian Stocks: Diamond Bank Gains

Sept. 7 (Bloomberg) － Nigeria’s benchmark All-Share Index declined by 271.97, or 1.24 percent, to 21,614.15, according to information obtained by phone today from the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Diamond Bank Plc (DIAMONDB NL), gained 0.32 naira, or 4.9 percent, to close at 6.81 naira. Renaissance Capital on Sept. 4 rated the Nigerian lender a “buy” with a target price of 11 naira.
Ecobank Nigeria Plc (ECO NL), a Nigerian lender, lost 1.32 naira, or 5 percent, to 25.25 naira. The Nigerian Stock Exchange on Sept. 3 lifted a technical suspension on the lender’s shares after it put on hold its plan to sell stock to existing shareholders.
